The UBEDA FUTURE CHAMPS event, a spectacle for kickboxing enthusiasts, offered an action-packed evening with as many as 36 kickboxing matches.
The field of participants was diverse, consisting of 25 promising J-class fighters, complemented by 10 N-class fighters and a single, experienced C-class fighter. The latter added an extra dimension to the evening with his/her fighting skills. The fights were intense and memorable; spectators were treated to spirited matches that pushed the fighters to their limits. It was a real pleasure to witness the technique, passion and determination of these athletes in the ring.
A key moment of the evening was the official announcement regarding the refferie. Glen, a respected authority with no less than 42 years of experience with the WMTA, conducted his last event under this designation. Starting with the next events, the organization will continue under the name WPKL. It has been stressed that this change is purely cosmetic; nothing is changing in terms of organization, rules or quality of fights. Only the name has been changed. All future fights will thus take place under the WPKL banner, continuing the tradition and passion for kickboxing unabated. Spectators can look forward to future events that will maintain the same high standards.
